If you have 0–34 College credits, you will work as a Paraprofessional Apprentice for about 4 years while taking college classes and on-the-job training.

You will be expected to complete your academic study at Brazosport College in an associate degree program.

If you have 34–68 College credits, you will work as a Paraprofessional Apprentice for about 3 years while taking college classes and on-the-job training.

You will be expected to complete your academic study at Brazosport College in an associate degree program.

If you have 68–102 College credits, you will work as a Paraprofessional Apprentice for about 2 years while taking college classes and on-the-job training.

You will be expected to complete your academic study at Brazosport College and/or an industry partner to earn your bachelor's degree.

If you have 102–120+ College credits, you will work as a Resident Apprentice for 1 year while enrolled in a certification program and finishing your training.

You will be expected to have a completed bachelor's degree or in your senior year of college. Then, you will need to be enrolled in an alternative certification program through an industry partner to earn your teacher certification.
