"Teachers inspire the next generation. I am where I am today due in part to a single teacher who refused to give up on me. With this scholarship, I hope to do the same for my students." —Jessica S.

"I adore problem solving and learning with elementary students at all levels. To go back to school as an older adult with children is a big decision, but one I am excited to take on. This scholarship would help, as I will be in school full-time to finish my degree as quickly as possible." —Christina Vaughn

"I see myself as a teacher because I know how important it is to make connections with the students, communicate with them and talk about their problems where at the classroom they can feel safe. Getting this scholarship can help me accomplish that." —Valery Acopa
