Nurturing Minds: Mental Health Awareness for Educators

We are excited to invite you to a virtual event hosted by TEACH: Nurturing Minds: Mental Health Awareness for Educators as a part of our annual Inspire, Amplify, and Prepare series!

Held during Mental Health Awareness Month, this virtual event centers on the mental health and well-being of aspiring and current educators, with a focus on the unique challenges faced by those from Black and Latino/a communities. Our expert panelists will discuss strategies for anyone seeking to foster resilience, self-care, and community support.

This event’s purpose is to create a space to explore the intersection of identity, mental health and education. By addressing the unique mental health challenges that specific communities of educators face, we aim to promote awareness, provide support, and encourage practices that prioritize well-being in the teaching profession at large. This event is open to anyone seeking to empower educators from all backgrounds to take care of their mental health while positively impacting their classrooms and communities.
