“There is a very personable side to the program that is amazing. This isn't something you do on your own and they just mail you a certificate. They walk you through, they make you feel comfortable, they encourage you, they invite questions and it makes all the difference.”

Program Info

The mission of the INSPIRE TEXAS Educator certification by Region 4 alternative certification program is to prepare confident educators who inspire Texas children to develop their potential. We believe that if the teacher is confident in their skills, then the students will have confidence in their teachers. If the students believe in you, the INSPIRE TEXAS teachers can push them to reach their true potential and make the world a better place.

The INSPIRE TEXAS program is ideally suited for the busy professional that does not want to trade convenience for quality. Rooted in best practices and supported by quality instruction by recognized local educators, INSPIRE TEXAS candidates are challenged to be better than their peers. Candidates learn how to create dynamic lessons, deliver enthusiastic instruction and include students from all backgrounds in the educational process.

Once they have completed training and have secured employment, INSPIRE TEXAS supports their new teachers with some of the state’s best field supervisors. Field supervision is the heart and soul of the program—nurturing, dynamic and knowledgeable—our field supervisors are successful former administrators with deep local ties to districts. Their sole purpose is to ensure that the new teacher receives only the best support during their induction year of instruction.
